hours a day, 365 days a year in private airplanes
which are specially configured as critical care mobile
units.
Air Ambulance
Patient transportation service in private airplanes which are permanently configured as air ambulances.
Description of the service:
The patient is transported in a private airplane, permanently configured as an air ambulance with complete portable intensive therapy equipment. During the flight, medical attention is provided by a specialized doctor and a certified paramedic.
The service consists of a previous evaluation form our medical director to determine if the patient is a candidate to be transported in an air ambulance.
The medical flight crew arrives at the hospital to prepare the patient for transportation (Monitors are used, infusion pumps are calculated, ventilators are programmed,etc…
The patient is transferred in a ground ambulance from the hospital to the airport at the city of origin
The patient is placed on the flight stretcher inside the air ambulance.
If the plane must make stops, the doctor remains by the patient's side and continues the monitoring.
Upon arrival at the city of destination, the patient is transferred in a ground ambulance to the hospital where he is to remain.
And finally, the patient is presented to the receiving doctor who will be in charge of the patient's treatment.

The service of transporting patients on a stretcher or a first class seat of a commercial airline.
Description of the service:
The patient is comfortably seated in first class or on a certified flight stretcher with the assistance of a certified doctor.
The service consists of a previous evaluation of our medical director to determine if the patient is a candidate to be transported on a flight escort.
The doctor arrives at the hospital to prepare the patient to be transferred.
The patient is transported from the hospital to the airport in the city of origin in a ground ambulance.
The patient is placed in the seat or stretcher inside the commercial airline.
If it is necessary to make connections or stops, the doctor remains by the patient's side for any type of assistance.
Upon arrival at the airport of destination, the patient is transferred in a ground ambulance to the hospital or address.
And finally, the patient is presented to the receiving doctor who will continue the treatment.

admission procedure at the receiving hospital as well
as any process required by immigration authorities.
